Peru

Peru is divided into 26 areas on Magni Map. Zoom in to reach its neighbourhoods; each neighbourhood has one sheriff badge.

Every neighbourhood on Earth has one sheriff badge. Claim it for $1 and hold it for 30 days. Anyone can take it over by paying double.

How it works
  1. Zoom in: country, province, district, neighbourhood. Pick on the map or in the list.
  2. An empty neighbourhood costs $1. Choose the name on your badge and pay.
  3. Your name is on the map for 30 days. Someone can take over by paying double what you paid; then the clock restarts for them.
  4. When a term runs out, the badge is free again at $1.
Questions
Which areas can have a sheriff?
Only neighbourhoods, the smallest administrative areas (in Turkey, mahalleler). Larger areas are for finding your way.
What if two people pay at once?
The first payment wins. The other is refunded in full, automatically.
Who handles payments?
Lemon Squeezy, as merchant of record. We never see card details.
Where do the boundaries come from?
Natural Earth for countries and regions, OpenStreetMap for everything below.
